Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days, then shipped USPS with tracking. Currently we ship within the USA only.
What is tallow balm?
Tallow balm is a traditional, ultra-nourishing moisturizer made from rendered beef tallow. Moose’s Whipped Honeycomb Tallow uses high-quality, grass-fed tallow whipped into a smooth balm that melts into skin and helps lock in moisture—without unnecessary fillers.
What are the benefits of tallow balm?
Grass-fed tallow is naturally rich in skin-friendly fatty acids and contains fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, E, and K. Many people love it for dryness, rough patches, hands, elbows, and winter skin.
Will it feel greasy?
If you use too much, it can feel heavy at first. Start with a pea-size amount, warm it between your fingers, and apply to slightly damp skin. Most people find it absorbs nicely within a few minutes. A little goes a long way.
What does it smell like?
Our blends are designed to feel warm, inviting, and delicious—like a bakeshop just finished something incredible. Some batches can have a faint natural tallow note underneath the fragrance (especially if you’re scent-sensitive), but the finished balm aims for clean + cozy + craveable.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes—many people do. Use a rice-grain size amount to start, especially if you’re acne-prone. If you tend to clog easily, try it as a night moisturizer or use it on drier areas only.
Is it good for sensitive skin?
Many customers with sensitive skin love simple formulas, but everyone’s skin is different. We recommend a patch test (inner forearm) for 24 hours—especially if you’re sensitive to essential oils.
How do I use it?
- Scoop a small amount
- Warm between fingers
- Apply to slightly damp skin for best absorption
How should I store it?
Keep it cool, dry, and out of direct sunlight. Heat can soften it; cold can firm it up. Whipped texture can change slightly with temperature swings—performance stays great.
What’s the shelf life?
Typically 6–12 months depending on storage and the specific scent blend. If it ever smells “off” or changes dramatically, don’t use it.

Because skincare is personal, we can’t accept opened products. If something arrives damaged or there’s an issue with your order, message us—we’ll make it right.
