Description
Built around our slow-infused arnica tallow, Hand Repair Balm is designed for dry, overworked hands that need more than ordinary lotion. Arnica has long been valued for helping soothe tired, stressed skin, while calendula-infused oil helps comfort rough, weathered areas. Lanolin provides deep, lasting moisture that helps support the skin’s natural barrier and protect against dryness.
Unlike many heavy hand balms, Hand Repair Balm absorbs beautifully with a more matte, non-greasy finish, so your hands feel conditioned—not slick. Crafted with nourishing tallow, shea butter, beeswax, and skin-loving botanicals, it’s the perfect natural hand balm for mechanics, woodworkers, gardeners, farmers, and anyone battling dry, cracked hands.
Strong enough for hardworking hands. Comfortable enough for everyday use.

Facts vs Fiction
Hand Repair Myths
Myth
Tallow hand balms leave your hands greasy.
Truth
Tallow closely matches the oils your skin naturally produces. Combined with arrowroot powder, it absorbs comfortably without leaving hands slick.
Why I Started Making Tallow Skincare
Hi, my name is Brian, though around here I don’t mind being called Moose.
I’ve learned most of what I know about skincare from the women in my life, especially my wife and our four daughters, but Moose’s Tallow has truly been a full family project from the beginning.
I started making tallow skincare after a serious health scare forced me to rethink everything I put in my body. Once I eliminated processed foods and focused on real ingredients, another question came up: if what we eat matters that much… what about what we put on our skin?
With a busy home full of people I love, that question mattered a lot. When my daughters told me they were already using tallow for skincare, I decided to learn how to make it myself.
What began as a small project to make better skincare just for my family to bless them eventually turned into something much bigger.

Hand Repair Balm FAQ
Everything you need to know about our tallow-based hand balm for dry, rough, and hardworking hands.
What makes Hand Repair Balm different from hand lotion?
Unlike water-based lotions, Hand Repair Balm is a concentrated balm made with arnica-infused tallow, lanolin, calendula, and beeswax. It provides lasting moisture without needing frequent reapplication.
Will it leave my hands feeling greasy?
No. Arrowroot powder and our carefully balanced formula help create a more matte, comfortable finish that absorbs well without leaving hands overly slick.
Who is Hand Repair Balm made for?
It's ideal for mechanics, woodworkers, gardeners, knitters, crafters, healthcare workers, tradespeople, and anyone dealing with dry, rough, or cracked hands.
What are the benefits of arnica-infused tallow?
Arnica has traditionally been used to help soothe stressed skin, while tallow provides skin-compatible fats that help nourish and support the skin barrier.
Can I use it on cracked knuckles and cuticles?
Yes. Hand Repair Balm is especially useful on dry knuckles, cuticles, fingertips, and other rough areas that need extra attention.
How often should I apply it?
Use as needed throughout the day, especially after washing your hands. For intensive overnight moisture, apply a slightly thicker layer before bed.
